Lamborghini Aventador And Huracan, McLaren 570S, Porsche 911 Among Victims Of South Korean Floods

A handful of exotics have been destroyed in South Korea in the wake of massive floods across the country.

South Korea was hammered by Typhoon Hinnamnor in the second week of August, leading to widespread floods, in particular in the capital city of Seoul. At least nine people were killed in the disaster and comprehensive property damage was reported across Seoul. These cars were among those ruined by the floods.

These images were first shared online in mid-August but only recently came across our radar. They were reportedly all snapped in a single parking garage and show a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, Lamborghini Huracan Spyder, McLaren 570S, Porsche 911, Mercedes-AMG GT, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Bentley Bentayga, Cadillac Escalade, and a Genesis G80 that were destroyed and left in a thick layer of dirt after being fully submerged in the water.

A Kia EV6, Kia Carnival, and Jeep Wrangler were among the other vehicles caught in the flood. Since all of the cars were either partially or fully submerged in the floods, it seems likely that none of them are salvageable.

Take the Aventador SVJ, for example. It is the most expensive car pictured and has been covered in dirt and debris from the flood waters. Given that the doors and side windows are bathed in soot, we think it’s safe to assume that the water also found its way into the cabin of the supercar, likely meaning that few, if any, interior parts can be saved.
