Have you ever wondered what the Suzuki Jimny would look like as a Convertible? Well, a Chinese tuner thought just that and set about making this unique off-roader a reality.
YiChe Garage had to import a Jimny to China, since it isn’t sold there, at a cost of approximately $60,000. They then spent an additional $60,000 upgrading the tiny off-roader by chopping its roof and adding unique styling details.
After chopping the Jimny’s roof off and initially replacing it with a folding soft top, YiChe Garage decided this soft top didn’t work very well and removed it completely as Wheelsboy reveals in his review of the customized Suzuki.

The front fascia of the Jimny is also different than the factory front end. The front bumper, grille, headlights, and taillights have been replaced by those from a Tank 300. Some other distinctive touches have been made to the exterior and include the fitment of a carbon fiber front bumper, carbon fiber wheel arches, and a metal rear bumper.
The interior of the current-generation Jimny is known for being extremely basic so YiChe decided to make it a more enjoyable place to spend time, slotting in a set of plush new seats for the driver and front passenger, as well as a new bench seat in the second-row. These seats are clad in lovely white leather, a material that also adorns the steering wheel, transmission tunnel, and door panels.
